Almere Haven
De oudste kern, vanaf 1976. In de Klavergrienden en Oevergrienden staat houtskeletbouw, en in Overgooi villa's. Na-isolatie en vochtbeheersing zijn hier belangrijk.
Almere Stad
Terraced houses from the 1980s and 1990s. De Wierden, De Hoven and Molenbuurt have a neighbourhood insulation scheme.

Newer neighbourhoods. Clients here usually want a new bathroom, floors and painting.
Houtskeletbouw in Almere Haven
A timber-frame home needs a different approach than masonry. We set tiles on a stiff substrate, and with insulation we add a vapour barrier on the warm side so moisture does not enter the structure.
Rules when renovating in Almere
Almere has almost no protected heritage. Interior work in an ordinary home almost never needs a permit. With timber-frame construction you do need care with heavy tiled walls and insulation, because the building physics differ.
