Bathroom renovation: Mediterraan Steen design
Mediterranean Stone: where natural stone and pattern meet. A 4 m² bathroom with calm stone-look tiles and one striking detail — Mediterranean pattern tiles in the shower and behind the toilet.
The design
Mediterranean Stone pairs large warm grey-beige stone-look tiles with grey-and-white pattern tiles. The pattern appears in two places: the walk-in shower niche and behind the wall-hung toilet. The rest stays calm; character sits in the details. The walk-in shower has no door, a rain shower and a floor drain. An oak-look vanity with double basin adds warmth.
Materials used
- Large-format stone-look tiles on wall and floor
- Pattern tiles in the shower niche and on the toilet wall
- Walk-in shower with drain, rain shower and thermostat
- Built-in niche with metal finishing profile
- Wall-hung toilet with concealed cistern
- Oak-look vanity with double basin and lit mirrored cabinet
- Black towel radiator
The details
The black towel radiator sets a sharp contrast against the warm tile tones. The mirrored cabinet has built-in LED lighting, and beside the vanity there is still room for a washing machine — four square metres, smartly planned.
